Pastor Sarah Jakes Robert defines confidence as- the result of not only thinking good thoughts but also of  knowing truth and allowing that truth to  change the way you show up in the world and improve your interaction with others.

One of the most powerful realities in this life I believe, is in the knowledge of yourself, the moment you have the assurance of who you are , you have won the victory; You will  see your life taking another dimension. And the devil knows it, he knows the power hidden in the truth- The revelation of your identity in Christ. He is a liar, that’s why he will always try and bring confusion, lies and doubt in your mind. One simple example is in the shift of focus nowadays,  we are now looking for the minister, the gift, the anointing, the place etc , those things are good but they are just accessories in the picture compared to the main thing which is your Identity as said previously.

Do you want to build your confidence? Do you want to walk with boldness and courage? Pray for the revelation of Jesus in your life.The secret is simple- Confidence is the revelation of Jesus.You were made at His image , as He is as I am. The equation is logic.
The more you will get close to Him the more you will see yourself through Him.
The moment you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, everything is in you , it’s up to you now to decide to grow the seed(with the help if the Holy Spirit of course), and  i believe that everything you will acquire through your journey will just be the revelation or highlighting of what was already in you.  As I like saying, YOU GOT IT ALREADY, IT WAS IN YOU SINCE.
Nothing happens by coincidence, nothing take Him by surprise , if He knows every single hair strand on your head what about your life, your direction and destiny. Put your trust in Him and you won’t be deceive. Decide to have  the assurance that you have a God who is taking of care you, no matter if your life presently  testifies of it  or not. The God your father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has established an eternal covenant with  you through His son Jesus. Something is sure Jesus is the eternal judge , I pray i will have another occasion to talk about it, and explain it well. 

We can talk about Confidence in God ,  confidence on what’s in you,  at the end of the day, what’s in you has been put by God, so basically it’s just a cycle that has God at the center. The focus will and should always be unto Him.

Important note to yourself: Never give  a human being the place of God in your life especially to build your confidence , surely God will put such people in your life at the right season, but the mistake a lot of people make is to allow other people to sit on the throne of growth in their life , they are helpers not the Maker. Note the difference.
