Today I just want us to talk a little bit about {drum roll}: Burden.
What is it? How it works? Do I have burdens or can I have burdens? This are question we are going to tackle.

A burden is basically a load or duty God installs in your heart,  like a heaviness but mixed with compassion, and contrary to others this burden pulls you closer to your Father, builds your prayer life more to change things and most of the time is link to your destiny.

Why should I have a burden ?

Having a burden keeps you from pride, sharpens your will and your ways. Surely you have already wondered how you could serve God without pride or without giving yourself all the glory; it is because of the burden you have in your heart that makes you want only what God wants, the deep desire to serve God and to honor Him. It’s that thing in your heart that keeps you from sleeping at night because all you do is pray. I believe that all these great ministries were built this way, with a burden, and this burden never really left them, on the contrary, it even increased in intensity.

How do you receive one?

Only from God, it can be congenital , you are born with it, you grew up with that pain you were feeling when you were seeing this or this situation.  It can be acquired,  you prayed for it and God shared it with you because of your desire to be used and available for His kingdom; God has so many things in His heart that are » disturbing » Him, that’s why is so important to always pray to know God’s heart.
Or again, it has always been in you but just been manifested at a certain period of your life , kind of deviation of the congenital one because it was in you since but let’s say it was sleeping.

I want to finish by saying that if you just realized that that pain or heaviness you were  feeling infront of that or those situations  was actually a burden , I just want to encourage you to start praying for it, God didn’t put it in your heart for no reason,  He knew you were the one able to handle the situation behind that burden, for He knows what He has put in you. This burden will never really leaves you, so it’s better to start accepting it and praying for it, so that God will start using you mightily among the world. You know something amazing, you may be here thinking of how God could use you, you may have prayed even for God to use you , to place you, i came to tell you that that burden is the answer of your prayer, it is what you asked God for ok ?? Everything is linked with it,  your destiny is linked to it, this is a word for somebody. AMEN.
God’s eyes is on your life, His blessings are in you, His favor covers your life, you are equipped for that purpose, you have the capacity but don’t be confused it’s not my might nor by power  but by the spirit of God.

NB: There is one common burden for every Christian,  the salvation of souls.
