Balance!

Don’t let the world disappoint you. You have a good heart? Keep it. Are you generous and full of compassion? Marvellous. Are you honest and fair? Continue accordingly.

You will always hear people tell you how much of a barrier your qualities are for you. How much you will be manipulated, used, etc. This is not totally wrong; There will always be people who will try to take advantage of the good person that you are. But in this week, I just want to tell you don’t despair. Always be yourself, and never deny yourself for anyone.

But don’t forget to be wise, balanced, and to have discernment.

-It is not because you are generous that you will squander your property all the time. Balance!

– It is not because you easily forgive betrayals and you are full of love that you will always associate yourself with these people; Love them, but now from a distance. Balance!

– It is not because you are humble that you will always walk with your head down, like an unhappy person; Never assert yourself or claim what is yours. Do not confuse humility and humiliation. Balance!

You know, the choice of our surroundings or environment is very important. Do not associate with those who will look down on who you are, or who will not appreciate what makes you the wonderful person that you are, to the point of causing you to change your personality to become like them.
Instead, choose people who will help you give the best of you, correct your weaknesses, develop your skills, walk wisely so that you can be the best version of yourself.

But one more thing, always be yourself and never be ashamed of who you are, God loves you as you are, He created you in His image, He placed great things in you, you are wonderful, unique, a royal priesthood, a queen / king in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Never forget who you are in Christ.

One last little thought for you.

You don’t need someone to see YOU and value YOU; Learn to love and value yourself on your own. The love of God is sufficient for you; this sounds cliché and certainly looks like a consolation prize to many. But it is quite the opposite, it is a truth that if you let enter your heart, will turn upside down all things in you and in your life. Knowing who you really are is so important; and in Christ there is an answer to everything.

God loves you.
