Today,I will keep it short,just a little exhortation.

Matthew 22v 37:<<Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind>>

I was meditating about it again and I realize something, how can you love someone that you don’t know to that extend?
I mean even concerning our relationships with people, we did not wake up one day and we said to ourselves; love and cherish our mate; it took time and the more we spend time with them, the intimacy and also the knowledge of each other grew. I used to limit myself to the intimacy without thinking about the knowledge of each other.
And if we are careful, we realize that many relationships stop after 2-3 months because it is the period were both start showing their true character and they realize that then they cannot deal with each other. Are you still following what I mean?

Intimacy is important to build love in a relationship but what is more important is what you do in that Intimacy meanwhile you learn to know each other.
And it is the same thing with our relationship with God; looking for fellowship and intimacy is important but within the intimacy we should focus on knowing Him, desiring the revelation of “His person”.

And from that, I am not talking about one side of Him; provider, healer, locksmith.
Those revelations are good indeed but I’m talking about His nature, His character.

This is where many christians failed, they only focus on one side; what God can give and offer them, saying to themself they know and love God. You don’t know Him. And let me tell you that the moment any obstacle will come, you will be prompted to abandon Him if He doesn’t manifest Himself at the moment you expect Him.

Your love for Him is circumstance-based.

I just want to invite you to desire to know Him deeply and fully, to be able to love Him from the depth of your heart, to be able to be a “David “ and even more.
