Hi guys, welcome to Consistency again.
So today I am not really going to say much. I basically share with you guys the project that I shared with my local church. A movie entitled Saved by Grace. I will just share something small in line with the idea of the movie.
Most of the time, we encounter people that think they have to arranged their life before coming to Christ. They think their sins are too much for God to accept them and they will allow false reasoning to stop them from giving a try with God. I just want to tell you that if you are such a one, God chose you before you were born. Your present life doesn’t scare Him. When Jesus came on earth and died at the Cross of Golgotha, it was for you and me to be free and free indeed. We are saved by His Grace.
The whole purpose of Jesus coming was because of our natural disqualification, since we couldn’t be justified by our actions. All the commandments could not save us for by law, we failed and that’s why he sent his only beloved son for us to not only have eternal life but to also be unified with Him again. By unified I mean being one with Him, having free access to His throne.
Matthew 27v51: « And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake; and the rocks were rent; »
In conclusion, come to Him as you are, He will not reject you, even as bad as you think your past is. He has loved, He loves and He will forever love you. Never doubt that. Come and let Him do the change in your life, let Him clean you step by step with love and patience as no human being will ever be able to.
Important note : if you have already encountered Jesus, but you feel like you are battling with some sins, I just want to tell you to stop condemning yourself. Be patient with yourself, you will not change in one day, it happens gradually. Therefore you also have to understand that is not by your own strength that you will achieve anything. Breathe and surrender to the Lord for Him to do the transformation in you. He will lead you step by step, He will be your strength when you feel like you can not do it anymore or when you fall.
I want you to start seeing Him in your process of growth like a father, and you are like a 1 year old child, that can’t do anything by himself. Allow God to hold your hands.
God loves you.
